It is set in our French context, and he himself was coordinator of one of the post-CIASE (Abus dans l'Eglise) groups.
I quote just one passage:"This decision to remain in the Church is based on four convictions:
- I will not leave a Church when it is embarking on a painful journey of truth ;
- I will not leave a Church in which the responsibility of the laity has never been greater;
- I remain in the Church to proclaim Jesus Christ;
- I remain in the Church to join in its spiritual combat.", p. 85
