We were 56 participants at the meeting of the 76th graduating class, which took place from October 13 to 15, 2023.

On Friday, after a meal at the rue Meurein university restaurant in Lille, we visited Icam's major renovation site. This was followed by a presentation of Icam's pedagogical developments by the school's management. Our hotel base was located at Fresnes les Montauban near Arras. On Saturday morning, with our classmates Marc Haquette and Christian Traisnel (Lille 1972), we visited two CD2E eco-transition demonstrators on the site of the former 11-19 pit in Loos en Gohelle. The afternoon continued with a visit to the magnificent Galerie du Temps at Louvre-Lens. In the evening, we were able to share our satisfaction with each other, and continue the sharing over a buffet. On Sunday morning, after a mass celebrated by François-Xavier Boca, chaplain at Icam Lille, we visited the Vimy site, trenches and memorial, with an introduction to the visit by young Canadian students. After a meal at the estaminet des gardes du mémorial de Lorette, we visited this famous site.

The whole trip took place in magnificent weather, revealing the Artois region at its most beautiful.
