After several years without a meeting, the Auvergne group revived the tradition of regular get-togethers at The Salvation Jane bar in Clermont-Ferrand's historic center. The 10 of us gathered around a table to chat over pints of IPA beer and other beverages: Grégoire PICHOT (122 Nantes), Léo ROMAIN (115 Toulouse), Paul ANDRE (123 Toulouse), Luc MINIER (87 Lille), Nicolas PERRICHOT (99 Nantes), Stéphane COUSTÉ (86 Lille), Louis de MONTETY (81 Lille), Benoît DILLIES (90 Lille), Dominique NOLF (78 Lille) and yours truly.

Several resolutions were passed:

• The next meeting at Benoît DILLIES' Equestrian Center amid the Auvergne volcanoes.
  
  
• A meeting at Saint-Pourçain sur Sioule to bring together Alumni from the Allier basin.

I was pleasantly surprised by the success of this meeting, given the number of alumni present.

I think the efficiency of the Icam Alumni application has a lot to do with it. It makes it possible to create an event very quickly, and in a much more attractive way than the previous simple e-mails.
