Christophe Galfard**, astrophysicistand writer with a worldwide reputation for his best-selling books and lectures, is passionate about the cosmos and the laws that govern it, and will take us on an epic journey to the very edge of the universe.He'll tell us all about his most recent discoveries. He will also be signing his books, including the latest, "Voyage vers l'infini", to be published in early November by Michel Lafon , which will be The perfect gift for an interstellar Christmas, full of spinning galaxies, ravenous black holes, blinking invisible lights and blossoming stars .

**Christophe Galfard is a graduate of École Centrale Paris (Class of 2000), and a physicist as well as a writer. He explains the world as scientists understand it today. With aPhD in theoretical physics, he spent five years at Cambridge studying under Stephen Hawking, the great astrophysicist and cosmologist .Christophe Galfard haspublished the "Prince of the Clouds "trilogy of novels and science books (Editions Pocket Jeunesse), the first volume of which, "Le Blueberry" (2009), was awarded the 2009 Best Novel for Young People and the Prix le Goût des Sciences by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. Released in 2015, his bestseller "L'univers à portée de main", translated into 25 languages, has sold over 1,000,000 copies worldwide. Christophe Galfard now lives in France, where he is committed to teaching science in an entertaining way.
